I love this printer, I have other Laser & color inkjets printers, but this one seem to be doing the job just fine.
Pros. Support all kind of devices, PC, MAC, Linux, including iPod, iPad, iPhone, etc... I love the ePrint functionality where you can send your print jobs from anywhere in this world and it will print to your printer, you do this by sending an 'email' to your printer and the attachment you want to print.
Cons The wireless printing requires some technical knowledge. If your wireless router supports WPS (1-touch button to setup wireless), you should be good, but not all routers have WPS. There is NO WAY to setup wireless with your USB connection nor with the CD tool HP provides. The only way is to connect by network wire, and connect directly to the printer IP, then you will be able to setup the wireless using the web printer interface. I spent 2h with HP Technical Support, they remote logged in to my PC to try setting up the wireless (via usb connection) and they were not successful. I closed the ticket without a solution, and then decided to try on my own connecting by wire, this is the only way to setup the wireless if you don't have WPS. Note. Although the wireless setting was a bit of a challenge, once the printer is configured correctly, it is an amazing printer. The toners are very expensive, about $150-200 for recycled toners (set of 4), and around $250 for the original sets of HP toners. With Staples selling the printer under $200 (on sale), it may as well make more sense to buy a new printer (which comes with 4 new toners) than than a set of 4 new toners. I don't encourage filling landfill with printer trashes, and I hope HP toners will come down in price. Once a while, the printer wakes up and start calibrating for 3mns. You can't print while the printer is calibrating. The calibration period is changeable in the printer config. I wish this printer had a 500 paper tray, the one that comes with the unit is way too small.
On a side note, if you do print heavy volumes, I strongly recommend you add a 256MB SoDimm module, it is a special 144pins DDR2, this is different than the laptop 200pins dimms. The internal 128MB and the 256MB will give you 384MB and provide enough capacity to cache your data and speed up the spooling process. You can find a 256MB at some retailers for about $10 (Kingston), HP sells the same Dimm for $60+.
Again, I love this printer, and I am happy to see Staples carrying the lowest price around. I hope my comments will be helpful to others.

Purchased this printer because our heavy duty printer needed some repairs. For [$] this printer is worth it to buy and then recycle it. The toner is $70 for the black cartridge alone for only 2,000 page yield (Compared to $86 for a 12,000 page yield cartridge for our regular printer). Add in the other three cartridges and you are better off just buying a whole new printer then replacing the toner.Besides the toner cost, don't expect to print anything with any sort of speed. I can hand copy something in the time it takes this printer to print a page.
Comments about HP Color LaserJet Pro CP1525NW Printer:
I initially had to spend quite a bit of time on HP's website trying to figure out the different settings to use for each type of paper. Eventually this lead to a long phone call with HP support as I could not get the printer to stop printing pink and blue spotted blotches on every sheet. They did send me replacement ink cartridges which thankfully fixed the problem. Since then I haven't had issues with the printer.
One other thing to add is that I use this printer to mostly print on card stock. For the most part it will take 65 lb card stock from the drawer, but with the heavier card stock it needs to be feed through one sheet at a time with the manual feed. Very putsy, but it does work.
This HP printer is wireless, so if WiFi is in the vicinity, the printer works wirelessly, similar to a router. When installing a new printer, make sure the drivers are up to date by visiting the brand website and loading any updates.

Q:
What is the print capacity of an introductory toner cartridge?
It will yield approximately half of the replacement cartridges, so the black intro cartridge should yield 900 pages on average, and each of three colors 600 pages each.
Yes! If you were needing assistance placing an order please feel free to contact the Staples customer support line at 800-333-3330 and we would be more then happy to assist you further.

Q:
Does this printer require that the drum be replaced every year?
The CP1525NW printer does not require replacement of the drum separately from the 4 toner cartridges. Replacement rate of the cartridges will vary based on your usage - the unit is shipped with introductory cartridges which have average yields of about 750 pages. HP replacement cartridges yield around 1300 pages for cyan and yellow, and 2000 pages for black.
Yes to both questions. I print cards on this printer rather than my ink jet printer because the toner lasts so long. Does a nice job and I can manually feed the paper.

CUSTOMER CARE
A:
I apologize, but Staples does not provide this type of service. However, we do offer Rewards back for recycling your empty cartridges in our store. For more information, please visit the following link:
I understand all the toners need to be installed for printing, but what if they are empty? In other words, if the colors run empty can you still print black? At $70.00 bucks a toner that really sucks if not. If not, is there a model you would recommend that will print black only with empty color toners?
According to HP, this product will require that all cartridges are full to print. Unfortunately, all HP color printers printers require that all cartridges are have toner prior to printing. To place an order for this printer, please contact us at 1-800-333-3330.
