    Excellent printer, mostly.

    This machine prints beautifully - took 15 minutes to set up and warms up in about 25 seconds. Prints very quickly and the quality is great.

    This machine prints beautifully - took 15 minutes to set up and warms up in about 25 seconds. Prints very quickly and the quality is great.

    However, as another reviewer mentioned, it can not print on smaller pieces of paper. I create wedding invitations, and this printer can't print on the small RSVP envelopes. For me, that's a dealbreaker (sadly). It also "ate" several of the larger mailing envelopes. I understand this is a risk any time you print envelopes, but we're talking 1 out of every 8 or 10 envelopes would get snagged, jammed, or have a minor tear.

    Great printer, just not the right machine for someone who needs to print envelopes on a regular basis.

      I'm just starting my biz and did my research on printers. I do stationary and this printer works well with different types of paper. Prints beautifully and the double sided feature is quite the plus. However, ink is NOT cheap, and for the price you could buy another printer. Only was able to print one job with the ink that comes with it. Also can't figure out this ePrint feature.

            This printer does not have a scanner so you can't do direct copies, you need to use a flatbed scanner to scan the image being copied. The reduction and enlargement would be controlled by that device.

            The HP LaserJet M451dn printer is not yet officially compatible with Mac OS 10.7, only with 10.5 and 10.6, however, because the OS was just released, it is likely that they simply have not updated the officially compatible OS listing yet, as 10.7 would not have officially been supported in its beta version.
