Perfect paper for everyday pictures

I bought this paper because it was cheaper than normal picture paper. If you need something just to print a basic picture and you do not care about the glossy-ness than I would definitely recommend this product. This is especially good if you need to print pictures for a school project or some other project that needs sturdier paper than normal printer paper but not necessarily Glossy Photo Paper. I used this as a cheap way to print out my picture to submit along with a test. Very cost effective! And the ink dries quicker than on glossy paper.

This is the WORST photo paper ever! If I could, I would give it 1 star! When I opened the package the paper was so flimsy that I had to double check to make sure it was in fact photo paper. When I printed on it, using a brand new HP printer & HP ink there was NO difference in the quality then just using card stock. I tried black & white photos, color photos, graphics, just plain text & every different thing I could to try and give this paper a chance but nothing! It also has a huge problem loading properly in printer & I kept having to help it feed through to stop the "out of paper" and actually get it to print. I even took all the various things I printed on this HP Everyday Matte Photo paper & placed it next to the same things done on card stock and you could not tell any difference! I printed everything again on Target brand photo paper and then had my husband & several friends see if they could tell which one was which and NOBODY got it right! Nothing about this resembles photo paper. It is literally as if someone put regular printer paper in an HP photo paper package! I do not have a problem spending the extra money on HP paper & ink because quality matters but this stuff was is a complete waste!

I was sad that HP quit making their Premium Inkjet Paper in Matte but find this product to be pretty compatible. It is a little heavier than the old stuff which sometimes is better and sometimes is worst but I do like that I can print on both sides of this product. My collages work better with images that have a matte finish and colors that reflect what I'm seeing on my screen. This is a great paper for that type of artwork.

I have always bought the better quality of HP paper and decided to try the cheaper version - it sure doesn't hold up to the HP photo paper I'm use to. I won't buy it again and will probably toss it as soon as I get back to Staples to replace it. It's very lightweight and colors don't print vibrant and sharp. I'm a huge scrapbooker and print all my own photos and these won't go in my books.

photo paper weight too light

I ordered this product because it was photo paper and printable on both sides. I normally use matte photo paper like this for greeting cards, thank you notes, etc. After receiving the paper I noticed that the weight is only 33 lb and is too light for these uses. It is my fault for not researching deep enough to check the paper weight.

Was looking for HP Advanced Matte Finish photo paper but store had none so tried the Everyday Paper. Wasn't sure if it soaks up more of my ink then the reg photo paper. Have no idea if the pictures will fade or are long lasting. First time user.
