Well what can I say about this laptop?
It is the best laptop I could ever bought! In fact I had 2 so far and this was my 3rd one. Now what made me to get this laptop? Well honestly it was the price and that it has Bluetooth to it! Now that you don't find on laptops that often these days. This one you do, and I have to say the Bluetooth is great! I can finally be wired free and move about my room.
Plus it is also super quite, you won't even know it's there! That is a major plus right there!
3rdly, it doesn't even get to hot, that's right while others get to warm to even put on lap, this one doesn't. Heck you can even put it on your lap and hold it and it won't even get hot.

4thly, The HDMI truly works! Meaning you can hook it up to your tv and watch a movie say from Youtube and it won';t even skip or pause or anything!

This has been a fantastic laptop!

hp g7-1310us went on sale, so I bought 2. My wife had no problems with hers at all, and is happily using aol and looking at her pictures. I was not so lucky. Got BSOD twice but recovered. Could not play youtube video, display corrupt and pc froze. Could not install a couple of programs and the dvd drive was extremely noisy and would not read some disks. Several restarts later pc would just display black screen and would not boot. After several attempts pc booted into Windows and started applying updates. Final straw was when pc started to update BIOS and remained on update 36 of 354 (or something like that) overnight, and shortly after I woke up I saw the machine display corruption and an unhealthy noise and the machine re-started. All it would do is the power light would go on and then 2 lights on the keyboard would blink. Piece of junk was returned, and that's when I learned they were out of stock because so many had failed and all existing stock in stores and online went to replace failed units. There were 4 failed units when I brought mine back next day. My wife is still using hers for AOL and her pictures.

Nice big screen for watching streaming videos, including sports events and youtube.
Microsoft's Internet Explorer is getting more difficult to set up and tailor to my use. Couldn't even specify Google as default browser, or get the Bookmarks to display properly. Much prefer Google Chrome.
