The set-up isn't as simple since the manual doesn't really label the parts. The printing is clear; fax worked well even without a traditional phone line. The only issue is getting the scanner to work with Vista as the online manual doesn't really give instructions for this.

Overall a good buy though.

The specialist on the phone was very helpful. My old HP Laser Jet printer finally died and I still had 7 toner cartidges. She took the time to find another HP printer that used the same cartridges.
