I needed a printer to work quickly - this unit has bluetooth connectivity and can run on its battery. I thought the price was high, but needed to get a job done quickly so I purchased this.
It set up ok, there was an issue with the bluetooth connectivity but I solved it by going into the settings and removing the need for a code.
It's a bit unstable as the printer walks as it prints.

Buyer Beware

Wireless capability still unresolved after nearly two months of "tech" support. Only works with USB cable attached to laptop. The one I bought never worked with bluetooth (wireless), which is the main reason why I'd bought it; travel ease was the other reason. After finally determining it was defective, following numerous tech support sessions, HP then sent an even more defective refurbished model to replace it. I returned the defective "replacement", which didn't work at all, and now I'm stuck with the wireless-defective original printer. At least the travel feature is useful, so long as it is hardwire connected to the laptop. Don't get stuck as I did. Stay away from this model

Had 3 prior Canon portable printers since 1996 but last one was a photo printer which had a very small black ink cartridge, major jamming issues, flimsy construction and didn't last very long. Canon didn't improve those issues in the newest model so I'm switching to HP100 which is really the only mobile printer available for business people. I had no problem installing this printer or the bluetooth wireless capabilities. I love that the bluetooth function and battery were included in the printer cost. Just hopefully I won't have a jamming issue with the HP100 as I've seen in previous HP100 reviews!

The picture makes it look like the paper supply has to be placed on top of the machine and the top has to be opened to feed the paper. Is that correct?

  This product is wireless via Bluetooth, so if you do not have a Bluetooth enabled device, this may not be the best wireless printer for you.
