I use this printer for up to a hundred pages or pictures a week. So far I have had no problems or any reason to rate it higher than my old HP940c which worked for years and untold number of pages.

I haven't changed ink cartridges to date and have no idea on the economics of the situation. If I have any complaint it would be that there are so many models of printers and cartridges available it's hard to keep abreast of what's going on. I just hope it lasts ten years like my last one did and doesnt break me up for ink.

Laser printers are great if you don't mind flushing your money down the toilet for toner. This this gives you laser quality prints (if not better) for a lot less money. The color print quality will blow your mind. Toss the color laser and get one of these things; you won't be sorry.

I like the quick time to print after turning on. Don't like the shortening of the verticle printing area when auto duplexing. Appears to be no fix accept to manual duplex. I use duplex often!!!
Ink cartriges don't hold enough ink. No indication of amount of ink, fluid ounces, on the cartridge packageing. Run out of ink MUCH faster than my old printer! Had printer 6 weeks and already had to change all cartridges twice!
This is my fourth HP printer. I'm not sure if I would buy another.
I print and make lots of model from paper. Not having auto duplex make the printing process more difficult!
I also do brochures for our Kiwanis Club. No auto duplex is a real hassle!!
