Answer this question 2 answers A: For item 442507, it does not have a direct save to Word. I was able to locate the following on how to edit something scanned: Step 1: Load your original print-side down in the right-front corner of the glass or in the ADF. For more information, see Load an original on the scanner glass or Load an original in the automatic document feeder (ADF). Step 2: From the computer desktop, click Start, select Programs or All Programs, select the folder for your HP printer, and then select HP Scan. Step 3: Select the type of editable text you want to use in the scan. Step 4: To start the scan, click Scan, and then follow the onscreen instructions. Q: My telephon service is digital. Can this product handle digital faxing capabilities? If so how? Asked on 2/4/2013 by Joe Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: Digital telephone service usually refers to the backbone of the system and not what is actually connected to your phone. If you are able to plug into your telephone jack and hear a dial tone, what you have is the analog end of the digital network. There is always some interface either in an outside house box or further up the line that converts the digital backbone to analog POTS (Plain Old Telephone Service). The only kind of telephone service not compatible with POTS connections is VOIP. That is service like Vonage. A POTS fax modem will not work over a VOIP line. If you do not have VOIP service, the HP printer fax modem will work fine. Answered on 2/5/2013 by Community Answer from None
Q: I love this printer however I cannot get it set up correctly. I have 1 phone line and for whatever reason I can not get it set up for the fax to pick up on "fax" calls. Instead my answering machine will answer the call. I have changed my ringers and done everything the manual has told me. I am losing a lot of business because of this and I just wish I could get it figured out. Thank you!!!! Asked on 1/29/2013 by Tanya Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: In order for this to work you will need a dedicated fax line. Answered on 1/29/2013 by Community Answer from None
