This printer was easy to setup and is easy to use. If you use a MAC with OS Lion installed, the HP Utility software which allows you to use the HP Scan Software to scan, etc... will not work. Software Update will download drivers for your new printer so you can print fine. However, the other printer functions such as scanning will not. For example, you cannot use "Scan to Computer" from the printer menu. HP's site suggests you can use the "Preview" app to scan so I tried it and it worked. Will look forward to a software update for HP Utility to support Lion.

The printer jams often with duplex scanning which is frustrating.

Printing via Wifi, ePrint, and AirPrint works great. Overall, decent printer for the price.

I found the touch screen unreliable. One third of the time accepting the selection with one touch. Other times required multiple touches to register the command. HP tech support suggested I try using my finger nail instead that worked sometimes, but other times it did not work. It was difficult to find a number to call at HP for tech support. One tech support person had trouble with English, a heavy accent and was difficult to understand. He gave me a phone number to call back as I had not enough time to be helped. He gave me the phone number for Apple tech support which was incorrect.
I returned the unit to the store where I bought it, They exchanged with another. The new machine also had problems with the touch pad as did the one in the store. The tech person in the store tried the unit in the store the problem duplicated on the model on display.
Then my replaced unit developed another problem the paper feeder after 2 days, It was properly filled with envelopes or paper and was unable to recognize there was paper in there tray. I go a message saying the paper feeder had no paper in it. HP tech support offered to send me what would have been a 3rd unit.
I concluded this model is a lemon and decided on something else. Given the time needed to unpack, install setup wiring and pack up. I found this
model a big waste of my valuable time.

I haven't had my printer long, but every aspect except the wireless option has been great.

Each time I use this feature, I have to restart my router and printer. I've worked with the trouble-shooting guide to no avail.

I have had Brother Printers for a while - they come cheaper than the others. I purchased an HP product after a long time and was pleasantly surprised. The printer is very easy to set up and use and works as expected. absolutely made me reconsider HP from now on - the ease of use justifies the premium
