This is our Christmas gift to our family this year. We opened it early. My son uses it for homework. They use computers and tablets in school now so he needed a reliable computer at home. I am sure he will also use it for games and email. My husband uses it for email and job searching. I am going to set up our household budget. I am also going to start a small business now that I have a reliable computer. I am sure I will also play games and get my email and contacts organized. I am also looking forward to getting all my pictures organized in one place.

I like that it does not have a tower. We have no room under our desk. I think we are all going to be very happy with the HP Pavilion AIO.

Replacement now works

Computer either had a virus or the installed Norton did not protect the computer. The computer kept crashing. The Windows 8 is really terrible. I had to re-install Windows Office 3 times. When I tried to exchange it, Lisa, the manager tried to make this a "user error", that this was somehow our fault. They did not have a replacement and wanted me to drive out to the Apple Valley store, with my non-working computer and attempt to make the exchange there. I refused. Overall, a terrible experience.

I purchased this system to replace a laptop and I am not sorry. This works very well for my crafts business and it looks very nice on my desk. I like the fact that there is no tower to have to deal with and I can move the wireless keyboard to my comfy chair and still work on the computer. I also like the bigger monitor because I am not as young as I used to be and that makes it easier to see. I run the system on Wi-Fi and have no problems with it. I had Staples set it up so I can't say if it is easy or hard to set up. I think it is worth the money to have Staples do the set up because you also get some training on Windows 8 with the set up.

It is a great PC for family/everyday use. We use it everyday for web surfing, MS Office, photo/video editing (this PC comes with video camera) and kids home work. The size and quality of the display makes it a better choice for watching YouTube/Multimedia than my IPad or Laptop at home. The only thing I wish this could do is to have the ability to double-up as a PC Monitor. I also like the wireless keyboard and mouse in this configuration, it removes the risk of accidentally knocking the coffee cup off my small table (it happened before, especially after a long work day). Overall, a great value for everyday use. I would not hesitate to recommend this to my friends and family. Hope it helps.

  The HP Pavilion 23-b010 All in One Computer will need a wireless router or wired Ethernet LAN connection. If you are in range of a public WiFi system, you could connect to that with obvious information security concerns.
