When I buy a computer I keep it for a VERY long time. The top-of-the-line eMachine I just replaced was almost 8 years old. The Compaq before that...6 years. My philosophy is to buy as much computing power and speed for my uses as possible and spend as little as possible. The HP 2326s isn't overkill. It's perfect for fast financial and Quicken downloads and works instantaneously on all of the basics. If you're a serious gamer or edit video and want graphic design there are other more expensive HPs that are for you. If you want a powerful, everyday computer that will work in a home office setting, the HP 2326s is an amazing bargain that won't be obsolete in two years. So I'll keep this one for another 8!

Purchased as a replacement for a Dell. Was wary of HP since they have had some company issues, but due to cost decided to give them another try. I will admit my first home computer was an HP that lasted 10 years so I have had a positive experience with HPs before. This one replaced just my tower as the Dell starting failing and could not start even in safe mode. I took the easy way out and purchased the new HP tower anticipating issues with interfacing with my existing monitor and other gadgets. The HP fired up and took off running without any issues. My wife is the main user (I use it if she let's me) and she is not a computer person, but has not had any issues with operation. Definitely would recommend the purchase.

my last computer was a hp and it lasted 7 years. so i'm hoping this one last just as long, if not longer. windows 8 was a bit confusing, the easytech guy showed me some easier ways to get around on it. so it's getting better. i've only had it for about a week. have acces to so many different things, havn't had a chance to check it all out but the ones i have are great. if your into solitary there is six different ones on here. easy access to all your files and programs. i would recommend this model to any one looking for a home computer.

I bought my wife a NOKIA LUMIA Windows 8 phone and she loved it. So I bought a HP Envy x2 to play around with, and really got to like the windows 8 platform. So I decided to purchase this HP Pavilion p6-2326s Desktop PC and give it a run for its money. I own a driving school and needed a computer with dual screen out puts, and this machine fit that bill, still we use a lot of old programs required as part of the states curriculum, and we were concerned about conflicts with the Windows 8 platform like we had with Windows 7. But Windows 8 works great and the and so does the machine!!! The big Bummer, is it is discontinued now!

This pc worked great right out of the box. It took me a little time to get accustomed to Win 8. The tutorials right on the start menu have been helpful and I have been able to do everything that I want to do with the pc. It is well put together and has all the features I need. It has the Intel processor that was included in my "wants". The computer was such a great deal on sale and I had a $100 off coupon for any Win 8 computer. I was so pleased that I went back to the store and upgraded my monitor to a 23" HP with DVI and it looks great. We don't have to squint our eyes to see the screen anymore. I would definitely recommend this pc. I have bought my last three computers from Staples and they have been great to deal with.
