HP Pavilion p6234f-b Desktop PC Bundle

Brought to replace old computer. Husband and stepson love the ease of use. Great monitor. Graphics are great for games.

I bought this PC bundle to replace a Dell, Windows XP, that I had since 2002. I use it for personal business, internet, e-mail, some games. It was a breeze to set up and the monitor is eye-catching. The on-line HP support assistance and solution center is conveniently at hand and very helpful in answering any questions. I do wish this bundle would have included Office 2007 versus the 60 day trial. Also, it would have been nice to have had an original Windows 7 backup disk instead of having to make your own. I've only had the computer set up for one week but, so far, have not experienced any problems.

I utilize the PC for maintaining household, budget, and committee spreadsheets. Also, initiating reports and correspondence. Right now there isn't that much to indicate that I feel that this is a great product. My Dell Computer
Millinilium 2000/XP was easier to get around. The lack of not having a manual included in the package is making it extreme difficult for me to navigagte Windows 8. Sending and receiving e-mails are working ok, but I still haven't grasped how to initiate an address book. (Microsoft Live)

I am 4 or 5 generations behind in the software and feel that a one-on-one tutorial would be helpful. This cannot be done over the telephone expecially when I am conversing from techs in India. Unfortunately, I have a hearing deficiency and my experience with the telephone assistance received has been time consuming because of the need to ask instructions to be repeated. Dialect enters into this as well as the hearing deficiency.

Use the PC for my college homework. Its fast reliable and I also love WIndows 7.

I use this computer for personal use. Some presentations and pictures management.
