    I like this printer as uses less ink, smaller footprint, larger paper tray, eprint, and wireless. I also like the usb and sd connections on front, but had to add a cable to the pc for it to be seen. Wireless did not work for this part, but okay with cable as can still use wireless for connections with other computers.

    I do not like the sleep mode as have to hit printer button to makeup and use. Still trying to figure out way to figure stop sleep as a pain. Can set max to 15 minutes, but not enough time.

    The scan is important, but still looking for way to set directory to save files.

    Recommend you print out a downloaded operations manual. As the newer models have more options you will need to look up things when you used ti just install, attach, and print.

    The setup was easy, but did have some confusion on the wireless connection. Important you know your network name. I use this to print from a tablet, cellphone, laptop, and my desktop. HP has made that easy.

    This is my second printer, and it continously loses it's connection. The first one locked up and had to be unplugged 3 times out of the box. This one, I have had to reset my router 5 times, used their worthless diagnostic tools for 4 hours and still will not work. The "e-print" and any attempt to print from my computer might work once after a router reset, but then...you have to do it all over again. Will be returning this tomorrow and getting another brand.

    DON'T BELIEVE THE "positives" here. This printer is JUNK. (PERIOD)

    It took some time to try and figure out how to use the view screen and to have it crop and make other changes to old photographs. I am not very familiar with some of the more modern photo editing features. I would really like to have a written manual with this machine, as I am not sure what all it is capable of doing. I have an older HP printer that has a manual, and I am still finding things it can do that I had not known it could do. I might look for a manual on the website.

    The sample ink is still being used even though I have print many 4" x 6" photos, and I have been amazed at how long it has lasted. I absolutely love the special compartment for the photo paper.

    the machine does shake a bit when it is printing, but I assume that the manufacturer knows this and has factored it into the machine part.

    I have not had this for very long so I cannot comment on many of its features.

        I have been extremely pleased with this printer, I have bought HP printers in the past and this one is by far the best. The set up was very easy, I like that it is wireless and all of the other computers in our home can use it. Since it is wireless it doesn't have to sit out next to a computer on a desk. I like the templates and have used them for making lists, coloring pages and calendars. I haven't used it for pictures yet. It seems to print out quickly, hasn't jammed and the automatic feeder takes the paper smoothly.

            While I haven't yet used many features of this printer, I don't expect to be disappointed. HP printers have served me well in past years, so I expect the same high quality performance from this one. I did have a problem with on-line installation and called the HP help number. The technician was very helpful, took over my computer, and made the installation.

            At the beginning I could not print envelopes. In support department we spent over three hours in a remote session and finally they decided to send me other printer which was a reconditioned one and with paper trays missing. I sent it back and reconnected my original one. This printer is only 20 days old. Other than this, it works very good
