For the price of photo paper I don't believe you can go wrong with the HP paper available out there. I have used other papers for photos and always return to HP.
HP Paper gives you high quality photo prints if for everyday photos or photos to last a lifetime.
As with all photo papers the price is not the best but for what you are getting it is the best I have found on the marketplace.

I am an amateur photographer who takes pictures solely of family functions. I then load them onto my laptop and pick/choose those that I want to maintain and print. The finished photo print quality of the 5 x 7 "hp Premium Plus Photo Paper" closely parallels that of professional photography! The ultra-smooth, glossy finish (brilliance) of this paper would appear quite fragile, yet the weight of the paper is very sturdy and serviceable--a really quality product that stands up to the job and never paper-jams! This photo paper is rated five-star by hp and certainly deserves that rating--

I used a cheaper brand of photo paper and had all kinds of trouble with the photo paper jamming or not printing properly. I worked at trying to get the paper to feed through properly but finally had to give up on it. I returned the faulty photo paper to the store and bought the HP Premium Plus Photo Paper. I loaded it into my printer and was blessed with perfect prints every time. The moral of the story: Since I had to make a second trip to the store I didn't save any money buying the cheaper store brand.
