We print material for use in character building classes and in an alcohol/drug rehab center, so we make a lot of copies each week. I also often print photos that would please or amuse the ladies as they have no access to computers/printers/you tube, etc. The photos are always of excellent color quality and balance and of course, the printed materials are top notch printing.

Bad cartrdige life and replacing the four colors 1t [$] a piece is bad enough but HP mislead on the life of the drum on the HP2840(another [$]). 20,000 pages advertised is about 6000 to 7000 actual. Why? They consider a page with four colors to be four pages not one. If you only run B&W maybe you will get more but who does that. [*]. If you like the machine, catch it on sale instead of buying replacement parts and just get another one, its cheaper than buying four colors and a drum.

Quick and easy to install. On this particular HP printer, when one color goes, printer switches to a gray-scale. I just took out a loan to purchase toner!
