I had a 1907 and it was excellent plus it had the bottom tray area. When I saw the 2338 was on sale I looked at it and had same qualities as my smaller version. This one had the same base but the new ones do not so it was an instant choice for me. The monitor has an excellent image and brilliant colors. I like the overall appearance as well. You still need to compare to find the monitor you like as I did.
