The HP wireless mobile mouse works flawlessly with an ASUS Eee PC 900 running Ubuntu 10.10 -- absolutely plug and play with no fuss whatsoever. The netbook's trackpad buttons had given up the ghost and it seemed to be destined for the scrap heap. Now, with this new mouse it's got a new lease on life! Hard to beat that for under ten bucks.

I can't do the shopping gig, so I sent my spouse to Staples with the information about what I wanted - a mini mouse with a USB nano connection. This is what the sales person sent home with my spouse.

It is not the most ergonomically designed mouse I have used. At best, it is average; there is nothing special about it.

                There is no off/on switch built into this product. The mouse does not use very much power when not in use, so it is not necesary to turn this item off. However, you can disable the mouse by unplugging the USB connector in the back of your computer and storing the device under your mouse, in the USB compartment.
