I bought this for my wife as a birthday gift. She is an occasional coffee drinker that consume a few cups a week. This looks perfect for her and it is the first K-cup brewer in the house. We were excited to try a cup after it arrived and it worked well. Then I tried to brew from coffee pod a couple times and both turned out to be very very weak. I am not sure if it is the brewer or the coffee to be blamed. Then on the 4th cup using K-cup in the second week, it started to have problem. Coffee stuck inside the k-cup and explode from the top, making a big mess on the counter top. After cleaning up, I tried to run the machine without k-cup to see if the water path is okay and it seemed fine. Then the next day, my wife gave it another try with k-cup, the same thing happened. So far, it only made 3 good cups of coffee from k-cups and 2 weak cups from pods. I found similar complaints on the internet. It seems to be a major design fault. I use Green Mountain Dark Magic K-cups which are good when the machine worked.
