I wrote a book and print it, bind it and ship it. The paper is a quality laser paper, and will now be the standard for all my printing needs.

Case and Packaging failed in delivery

Case and Packaging failed in delivery. Ordered two cases this time. One case was delivered empty with the 5 reams of paper stacked beside it and a couple of the reams popped open with a few corners crushed. The second case was crushed and torn but the nylon strap was still in place and all of the paper reams were ok. The delivery of this type should never have been allowed to happen.

Comments about HammerMill® Ultra Premium Laser Paper, 8 1/2" x 11", Half Case:

I like this paper due to high brightness, and fine structure that provides crisp imaging. The alkali paper processing leads to a low acid content and makes this paper good for archival applications. Not necessarilly the best choice for ink jet use as the longer fibers and clay will wick inks. Although in my experience this has not been a problem. Ideally suited for toner or wax based print engines.

I use this product in a mass mailing once a month about 1000 sheets. This is a bit pricey but it does not jam up in my folder and it looks excellent.

Doesn't curl when used in a laser printer. Very easy to machine fold as a result. No shadowing. Great feel. Can laser print 2 sides with no bleed through. Excellent for business use, its bright white and heavy quality give the recipient of a business letter printed on this paper a very favorable impression before he ever reads a word!
