    This is a great shelf for comic book boxes. It easily fits 5 short boxes on each of the 4 main shelves, plus whatever you can stick on the top. If you have long boxes, it can fit 2 long boxes and 2 short boxes per row. I currently have mine loaded with 4 long boxes, 12 short boxes, 3 stacks of TPBs, plus some other stuff on top; it is as sturdy as can be and couldn't be better.

      Bought these for the garage. Other units that I have use half inch particle board for the shelves. This uses three-eighths. That seems a bit on the skimpy side to me.
