I use in conjunction with my air conditioner. As promised by manufacture, will cool air temperature in room at least 5 degrees.

Only negative is fan is all plastic..except for screws and wiring.

Bought two (2) fans...plastic knob broke off on one (1) fan on second day...will exchange that fan.
