This box was purchased to replace a Western-digital hard drive box that failed. (My second WD that has done that.)
I was able to get back all of my IPOD music and pictures.

This device was the only local product I could purchase to read the data off of some old ide hard drives I had. I'm pleased to say that it worked flawlessly. Simply plug and play on my vista box. The build as well as all of the connections are top quality.

Solved a problem by bringing new life to an old hard drive from a dead computer. I needed some tax records that were on that hard drive and was able to retreive them. That saved me quite a bit of money with the IRS.
