    I have had a difficult time finding IBM ribbon products. If the spool on the ribbon is orange, the lift-off spool should be orange for maximum performance. Also, the same applies to purple spools. Most of the time there will be purple ribbons and orange lift-off tape in the stores. That doesn't perform well.
