I SET THIS PEN UP CORRECTLY AND I USED IT CORRECTLY, JUST AS THE DEMO SHOWED, HOWEVER ALL I GOT WAS JUMBLED UP LETTERS, ETC. I THOUGHT SURE TECHNOLOGY WOULD HAVE PROGRESSED WAY BEYOND A HIT AND MISS PRODUCT. I WAS REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO USING THIS IN MY SERMON PREPARATION AND BIBLE STUDIES. I'M VERY DISAPPOINTED! Its a grate product that has saved me uncountable hours of work and typing. Don't get me wrong I do like typing but there are some things that just need to be copied.
This is a grate tool for collage students and for professionals that wish to use their time doing more productive things then copying text for one source to another.

I will say it took me two days to get comfortable with the tool, at first I thought it didn't work but with practice and a little bit of patience, you will be able to use this tool at a very fast rate without the need of making major corrections or checking the screen to see if it typed what you scanned.

The to extra buttons are helpful by inserting keystrokes like TAB or ENTER to the text. I did have some problems with the buttons but was able to sole the issue rapidly.

The recognizion of the different fonts sizes with different background colors or text colors works grate.

I'm using a Apple computer with it and it works grate.

Grate pice of technology well worth the money.

It scanned so much garbage, that it took much longer to edit my material than it would have taken me to type it all. I am going to try to return it.

I use the product as a admin asst in a law firm. I scan text from cases at least one hour per day. I don't know what I would do without the USB pen but would certainly be a better typist :) This tool is just perfect for me and, I guess, anyone who needs to grab text from paper. I use it all the time yet could not start to explain how it works, it just does. We scan into Word Perfect. You scan scan anywhere you want. It is doing exactly the same as when you type it in manually except you don't have to do it anymore. As I said, nicely done and a good investment. I save a lot of time with it.

My first week with this was a little slow. I realized I wasn't holding and swiping exactly as it wanted me to in order to get the best accuracy. So, be prepared to play with it a few times to get the motion down, but now I feel like I can get an accurate swipe. I use it for pulling data from publications (recipes and food research) so I have become a fan, its pretty slick. Easy set up - load software, plug in and start swiping - that was a bonus.
