As a huge music fan and former Radio DJ I've been collecting CD's for over 20 years. When I finally ran out of wall space I began looking for an attractive storage solution that would accommodate my ever-expanding collection while maintaining alphabetical order. All things considered, these Snap-N-Store boxes turned out to be an ideal solution.
PROS: attractive, portable, stackable, easy to assemble, inexpensive.
CONS: decorative covering is easily scratched/torn (but can be touched up with a black Sharpie) , fasteners sometimes un-snap when lid is off, overall durability is "home" quality.
CONCLUSION: Home users (like myself) who are continually adding and reorganizing discs will appreciate the versatility of these boxes while those whose collections are fairly static might find high-capacity binders to be a more durable solution.
If these boxes seem like the solution you're looking for, consider buying more than you currently need. Manufacturers of such items tend to change and/or discontinue styles frequently.
One important last note: The dimensions given in the ad are "interior". The exterior specs are actually 10.5" x 6" x 14".

I purchased several of these snap products to organize the hundreds of DVDs and CDs in my home office. The DVD single box is great. The CD single box is ok.(slight problem with cover) This product, the double CD snap box is not ok. Its designed to hold 330 CDs (if you buy their CD sleeves). The 330 is divided into 2 rows in the box. The divider of those two rows is nearly impossible to snap into place. There are four buttons, a top and bottom in the front, and in the back. The only way to get all four to snap in, is to physically bend the box's front and back wall while you snap the buttons in. Once you release, it creates lots of pressure on those points, and unsnaps itself-- sometimes by tapping or moving it, and sometimes it does it just by itself. Its very disapointing. The buttons are just placed baddly. Thats all there is to it. Also, the cover does not fit/sit quite right, and the outter walls are a little crooked. I would save the [$], and get something else.

Box looks nice, and seems reasonably sturdy. However, the partition snaps are misaligned... if you snap the top, you can't snap the bottom, and vice versa. The divider is very misaligned, leaving nowhere near enough room on one half of the partition to put in a CD in a paper envelope, as advertised. VERY disappointed. Will return and buy two single wides.

I set out to find the ultimate storage for my disk collection. I keep all my CD's and DVD's in sleeves and not jewel boxes. I really wanted a storage system that I wouldn't out grow, would look nice, and be reasonably priced. These boxes were cheap, snap together as needed and store flat when not needed. I have a life time supply (12)of boxes that fit over 400 disks in sleeves. Nine of these boxes are storing flat in a closet waiting to be used years from now. Since I bought so many I got a good look at the quality of the boxes. Most were in good shape. A few of the boxes could have used some more glue to hold parts together. I overlooked this since I could fix them myself. As mentioned in a previous review these are not throw around boxes so I wouldn't reccomend them for a traveling DJ. They are however more sturdy than I thought they would be. They stack very nice and have professional label holders to put the included labels. Great space saving boxes to hold all those disks of my vinyl and vcr tape collecitons.

I tried both the singe wide and this double wide. The single is not high enough for slim cases while this double wide is. This is make it easier to organize my cd collection (and dvds)
