                      A:

                      You can record music as MP3 files on a DVD disc. However, you would only be able to play the disc in your computer or a DVD player that supports DVD MP3s. There aren't many DVD players that support DVD MP3s. I would recommend recording music on to a CD-R, such as item 453980 Memorex™ 100/Pack 700MB CD-R, Spindle .

                      A:

                      A DVD+R uses a system referred to as AdIP (Address in Pregroove) to help reduce error and interruptions when burning the disc. DVD-R does not have that. Either one will work, but
                      DVD-R discs are supported by all DVD players, as DVD players made before 2003 do not play DVD+Rs.
