I've been looking for an inexpensive turntable to enable me to play the stacks of LP's gathering dust in my basement. Saw this at Staples for a great price, so gave it a try. So far, I'm not disappointed. I've had it less than a month and haven't yet tried the LP-to-computer transfer feature, but so far am pleased with the sound quality and overall finish of the turntable. The only complaint I have is the poorly written instructions. It took me a while just to figure out how to turn it on (found out by accident that it starts when you lift the tone arm). Other than that, this is a solid turnatable and well worth the money.

The turn table part is great,but I'm glad that I had another software to use to do the recording. On what came with it,it doesn't (or at least my copies)don't have a pause provision so you can pause while you're flipping the record over. I took two stars off for software.

I feel I was ripped off on the product very poor quality dose not work as per instructions. Will not record records. I didnt need another turn table to listen to records

I purchased the Ion Vinyl Conversion Turntable to copy out-of-print LPs onto CD. Very disappointed to discover the first instruction *Required* is to download iTunes. This requirement is NOT mentioned anywhere on the package. If it had been I would NOT have purchased it.
My rural connection is quite slow, therefore, after 3 tries I'm still unable to get past the 'download iTunes' step. Two of these attempts were made by individuals much more computer savvy than I am.
Alternate methods of copying the LPs have been suggested $$$.
On the plus side I am able to listen to my out-of-print LP collection through my stereo system.

Works okay, but must use itunes to save files.
itunes is not user friendly.
There is no sound level capability in the ion software, so the user must go to windows audio and adjust it manually.
