What is the texture of the paper? Is the line around the edge a raised line, a printed line, or something else? What is the printable area inside that border, and will this raised border make it difficult to print on a standard home inkjet printer?

  The Gartner Ivory paper is smooth. The border is raised, however, you are able to print on an inkjet printer with it. The printable area would be approximately 5 1/4 x 8 1/4 inches.

Hope you can answer all 3 questions about this product:
1. I understand that the larger cards (roughly 5 x 8) can be used to create the invitation. Can the smaller card (roughly 5 x 4) be used as the response card?
2. Do all 3 pieces (the 2 cards and the smaller envelope) fit together well in the larger envelope?
3. Can Staples do the printing if the invitation and response cards were uploaded?

As for printing services, the Staples Copy & Print center can create the invitation and response package you want, but card choices are based on what is offered by the Copy & Print center. I am looking at this item to use for my wedding invitations and rsvp cards.
I was wondering if the cards in this kit are a single flat sheet, or are they folded and open?
Also is there anyway for me to get a sample of just one card?
