For me, the weight distribution in the design was the biggest plus. Rather I have it on my shoulder or carrying by handles I don't feel the weight as much as a traditional laptop case. The design and appearance alludes to a much more expensive carrying case.

It was good at first, but I really load my bag up. First the strap gave out because the strong webbing of it is sewed to the shoulder pad, it does not go under it. Now the front strap loop is ripping away. I have had it for about 18 months and now I am looking for another one.

After looking at several cheap looking (Targus) cases I came across the Kensington Contour. This bag is incredible. Thick padding protects my 17" notebook perfectly. It even includes an extra padded sleeve for those shoppers with a 15" notebook. Buying this case will give them a larger case with better protection than a case made specifically for a 15".

The case has several accessory and office supplies pockets and a nice 'portfolio' pocket (even large enough to wrap the extra padded sleeve around my girlfriend's 15" laptop and carry both computers safely in one case!).

As well as looking much better than most cases, this one is very rugged and durable with the thick ballistic nylon. The solid rubber handles connect with one another to provide a very comfortable grip and the shoulder strap is angled as to provide a very ergonomically friendly carrying case, while not seeming as heavy as other cases.

I can't imagine myself ever having to buy another case, but if I do it will definitely be a Kensington!
