This is the best paper holder I have ever used. It can be moved out of the way easily and it can moved up-down-&-all around; wherever you want it to go. It can hold up to 6-10 sheets of paper at a time and it is so easy to attach to your monitor.

          The sling bar can be removed for travel: however, the small adhesive attachment base remains. The attachment base doesn't add much to depth. After two years, the adhesive is still holding firm and I'm rough on my laptop.

                I've had two of these. Gave the first one the benefit of the doubt when it broke. Now the second one has broken too. This doesn't stand up to even minimal office use. It's cheap monetarily and you should expect a cheaply produced product.

                  I currently have this clip but it has a small insert piece with double stick tape so it can be stuck to the top of my monitor vs. clipping (thickness of monitor is issue). Does this product come with this extra piece?

                    This expands to fit a standard LCD monitor or it also has an adhesive clip that you can mount on top of the monitor.

                    There is an adhesive backed attachment that is placed on the back of the laptop. It juts out less than one half of an inch. It's extremely sturdy...had mine for two years. The photo doesn't explain the adhesive attachment but only shows the two ended arm with clips at each end. One end of the arm clips onto the attachment. The arm is about 10 inches. The arm can be rotated and bent to suit your preference. I use the device to hold my hand written notes so I can type them. It's an ingenious little device. When I travel, I remove the arm by unclipping it and placing it into my bag along with my laptop. When I am on the plane, I take the arm out, clip it on the back and clip my notes...I'm set.
