So after having returned not one, but two, of the Cuisinart Keurig brewers due to broken water pumps, I've settled on this commercial grade Keurig OfficePro B145 brewer for home use. I bought the unit from my local Staples for [$] This model comes highly rated by both office and home users, and I couldn't find a single review online complaining of the broken water pump problem that seems to plague many Keurig models. The Cuisinart Keurigs were great, but neither of them lasted beyond the four month mark, which is terrible considering they cost around two hundred dollars a piece. They each just gradually stopped brewing full cups of coffee, and it seemed as though the pump just stopped doing its job of pushing water through the machine. Anyhow, the OfficePro B145 model is bulletproof and every component feels solid to the touch. It does not hold as much water as the Cuisinart Keurig, but I'll get over it. It is also a little louder than the Cuisinart model as it doesn't have the QuietBrew technology, but I think the QuietBrew technology may be the "Achilles heel" of the Cuisinart Keurigs and other Keurig models as the pumps simply don't last. Lastly, the OfficePro is compatible with the SoloFill Kcup converter (available on [@]), which enables you to brew your own ground coffee inside the brewer. I'll update this review if I experience any problems, but, for now, I'm loving this bad boy!

Comments about Keurig® OfficePRO® Single-Cup Commercial Coffee Brewer, Black/Silver:
After our old Keurig (B66) started having the same pump problems that so many of the consumer models have, I decided to go with the commercial model even though it doesn't have all the "bells and whistles." So far, I'm happy with it, but the pump is quite loud. You can hear it on the other side of the house. However, I'll gladly take a little noise as long as it keeps working. Can't understand why Keurig can't find a fix for the consumer models' pumps. I know several people who have had 2 or 3 machines replaced under warranty. No excuse for poor design. They should just go back to the loud pumps. People want their coffee makers to work!
This Keurig OfficePRO does not have a filter to be changed.

A:
The best part of this coffee machine is there are no filters! Just insert the flavor cups and that's it. There is a gray fitted cup that can be removed for cleaning but no filters are needed.

Q:
What are the refills called and where can i purchase them?
The Keurig machine takes K-cups and various kinds are available through Staples.com delivery or in store. To view a list of the K-cups available for your machine, click:
Keurig brewers use the most power during their initial start up. When heating for the first time after being off, peak usage is 1,500 watts. If the power is kept on, the brewer will keep the internal tank up to temperature using between 200 – 400 watts when heating. While idle and not maintaining heat, the brewer will use the average electricity of a 60 watt light bulb. All Keurig home brewers are equipped with an Energy Savings Mode Auto Off feature should you choose not to leave the brewer on. The initial heating mode when turning the power on should take about three minutes.

Q:
Can we hook this machine up to a constant water supply?
No, the Keurig OfficePRO has a 48 once removable water reservoir and needs to be refilled when empty.

Q:
Hey Staples. I'm considering using a commercial Keurig coffee machine in a potencial business next year. Can I use this unit in a concession stand? I like the low-risk advantage of this product. Thanks !
