The Kidde 21008173 Kitchen Fire Extinguisher is UL tested for residential cooking equipment. It contains 2.5 pounds of fire extinguisher agent and it's designed for putting out cooking oil fires without splashing. It has a 711A rating which is a new rating that tests an extinguisher’s performance on vegetable and peanut oil. It does not translate to the standard A, B, or C rating system. It is not rated for regular or electrical fire.
