VERY cheaply made, don't bother

The clock is styled nice, but the gears are so cheap, made of flimsy plastic and easily jarred. If it had been a Dollar Store buy I could understand, you expect cheap merchandise there.

I purchased this clock, based on the description of 14". This is misleading, as the face is only 12". Additionally, the mechanism was designed to operate by battery, but a power adapter was wired into it. It is nowhere near the quality of the sweep clocks in schools. It does work.

I currently have a collection of over 10 large wall clocks.They are all battery powered and I wanted to have an electric one..I wanted a retro look (like something from a 1950's or 60's school room or high school locker room) This one has just the look I wanted to have..I ran an electric circuit for it and mounted it at the end of my home's hallway..Looks just right
