Comments about Kingston 1GB DDR2-800MHz 240-Pin SDRAM for HP/Compaq Desktops:

These DDR2 RAM sticks are surprisingly skinny, rising less than 2 mm above the eject/lock levers which are built onto the RAM slots. This could be useful if you are using a low-profile or very skinny case for your PC, or if you have a very large CPU heatsink that gets in the way of taller RAM.

However, timings are slightly slower than advertised. They're not actually capable of 4-4-4-12 (which the Staples site claimed at the time of purchase). If you force the RAM to use these fast timings, you will experience a few system crashes which force you to reboot the computer (Blue Screen of Death in Windows XP). Relaxing the timings to 5-5-5-14 seems to work for me, but the default timings are even longer and perfectly steady.
