    Upgraded from stock 4gb to this 8gb product, installed, fired up and holy cow, how did I ever run with the stock. Windows index score for Ram stock was 5.9, this scored 7.1 and I can def tell a difference in everything I do. Wish I would've upgraded a long time ago.

      I have a compaq presario computer with microsoft windows XP media center edition 2005. I would like to know if this product is compatible with my computer, and if so will it speed it up? Also would I need anything else to install it to my computer?

        More information is needed to know if your computer supports DDR3. I would suggest opening up your computer to check if your current ram is DDR3. If you currently have less memory than 8GB, it is likely to help you.
