When the Kodak 5300 All in One Printer first arrived to the marketplace it seemed like such a great value because the price to replace ink was very inexpensive compared to the other printer manufactures in the marketplace. What initially made my decision to purchase this product was the fact you could get both the black and the tricolor cartridges for a mere [$], or less if you shopped around [...]. Though I must admit after using the printer for a few months I was buying far more ink for it than any of my other printers that saw about the same amount of use. The Kodak takes about twice as many refills than any other printer in my household, and I own seven, and they are shared between nine family members and three networks. Now Kodak has raised the price of their ink to [$], a $7 increase, but the ink still goes no further than it did before. I do not think that Kodak is such a great deal that I once thought it to be. I will be replacing two printers at the end of summer, and I will tell you, I will never again purchase any more Kodak products. They have burned their customers and I think that is wrong.

        I have used many different brands of printers and ink and Kodak gives the most bang for the buck. My fist Kodak printer offered several options for printing photos i.e. various styles like oval. Really miss that. Wish you would bring them back.

            If one color runs out the entire cartridge must be replaced. Refilling cartridges is never recommended. It can cause damage to your printer and void your warranty.

            Staples. I happened across them one day in the store. Until then I
            ordered them online at the Kodak store. As you know, they also charge shipping and handling of that.
