    I bought this because I lost a part of the wall charger that came with the camera. I'm pleased with the speed of the charge (1 hour vs 3 to 4 hours), but I'm also getting a defective battery reading on one battery which then charges just fine through the camera. So I'm not so confident that the charger is fully charging the batteries or that I can believe it's signal lights.

    The charger works well, once the battery makes the right connection. The battery doesn't fit well within the charger. It takes some doing to get it to start charging. Looks like it should snap into place, but wouldn't do that. We got it charging and moved away slowly, so as not to disconnect.

                    Does the Kodak KLIC7600 battery charger plug into the wall of the house without the battery being in the camera. Or does it only plug into a computer to charge. I'm not quite clear as to how this unit works. I would like to put the battery in the charger laying on a table plugged into the wall while I am actually using another battery in my camera at the time. Is that possible?

                    My camera won't stay on for more than a few seconds, even though I have charged the battery via the camera. Last time this happened I bought a new battery and that solved the problem. However if the battery is rechargeable, why can't i just re-charge by plugging in the camera? Will this product help with my current (dead) battery or would I need to purchase a new battery as well?
