It was time to retire the current chair I've been using... I was going to order a chair directly from the catalog and my husband suggested I go directly to Staples and check it out first.... I'm so glad I listened to him. I'm sure I tried out over 15 chairs and narrowed my search down to two. Really One!!! After testing out the chairs there was no question about it... This one was perfect!!! I can't think of one negative thing to say about this chair... It's attractive, extremely comfortable, versatile and durable... This was not the chair I wanted to order... but, will be the chair I order tomorrow. I know I'm going to be 100% satisfied.
I have such peace of mind now... I'm going to be comfortable in this chair for years to come.......

It arrived and I put it together in about 30 minutes. The parts are heavy. It would be easier with 2 people I believe. Very sturdy chair tho, very comfortable. Seems like it will stand up to my kids sitting in it. The leather is not great, so if you're looking for soft leather, this didn't come with it. My husband gave it the scratch test and it didn't scratch at all, and it didn't really smell like leather either. Overall, it is attractive, sturdy and comfortable with adjustable lumbar if you have an older back as we do!

I read the reviews on this chair before I made the purchase. After reading the reviews, I came to the conclusion most of the people knocking the chair set a high level of expectancy from it. Dare I say comparing it to a chair costing 2-3x as much? The old adage still holds true, you get what you pay for. If you want a chair with features only found on chairs costing 2-3x as much as this one, then that's the price range you need to stick with.

Formerly I had desk chairs costing around fifty bucks, the next one-hundred, etc. I want comfort and my previous experiences have always let me down. This chair is what I am looking for. It's comfortable to sit it for hours, although I personally feel the adjustable lumbar support needs re-working. The [lumbar] support feels like nothing more than the edge of plate steel being forced unto your back. If you're wanting this chair for comfortable lumbar support, look elsewhere, I've experienced better. The leather is nice, along with the stitching. Yes, the base is plastic, but again, would you really expect it to be metal from a chair in this price range? The structural design of the base is more than sufficient; it will not break. Yeah, it's heavy as well, but in my opinion that's a sign of quality. I have no reason to believe this chair won't last for a decent time period (5+ yrs).

It took me ~20 minutes to assemble, the most challenging aspect being installation of the arm rests. Assembly is a little easier if you keep all screws loose until every part is in place, then tighten.

Overall I would rate this chair at 4 1/2 stars, but being as how you can't, I gave it 5 despite the lumbar support drawback.

I use this chair as a home office chair. I've had both a budget chair and a very high end chair costing almost three times as much. This is by far and away the most comfortable chair I've ever had at home or at work; as someone who needs good back support I no longer get backaches after working at the computer for hours at a time!!! I had no trouble assembling, everything went together smoothly and was done in under 20 minutes and only had to refer to the instructions once or twice. It is heavy and solid and I had to unpack it at the store to get it into the car but that allowed me to take it in the house in lighter pieces. Only time will tell how long it lasts but so far so good!

I just bought this chair and put it together with the help of a co-worker (he held it steady while I put the screws in).

Total setup time was 5 - 10 minutes. Not sure what the other people were doing, but this chair is simple to setup.

This is the Bentley of office chairs. Lumbar support is adjustable. You'll love it.
