This chair is fantastic. I am doing on line course work 5 hours a day during the week and this chair is so comfortable. I didn't put it together so I can't comment on ease of assembly. Great lumbar support and the seat has great padding. The other things I like about it is the height of the back, the tilt, the adjustable height and the head support when you just need to lean back and think. I would recommend this chair to anyone. Added extra it has a sleek modern design with a pewter like finish looks great with my contemporary black glass computor desk.

Agree with other users who commented on assembly. Definitely need to be patient and it helps to have someone assist you (I did it myself, but it was hard to hold things together and start bolts into their threads). Pretty well engineered, though, once you get it together. I waited for it to go on sale, which made it a good value.

I just recieved it today. i use this for online classes and sit approx 25 hrs a week at comp. I like to roll back and forth to each desk for reference. I like to be able to listen to mp3s while writing notes so I like relaxing at the comp. This has a great position for typing,very comfortable while typing at comp. This has amazing range for tilt/recline capabilities. The headrest is too far back for me (5'8") to rest without scooting the bum forward on the seat. However the seat portion is very roomy, enough to slide or slouch without falling off. Its very roomy. I am totally thrilled that for the height of the chair, the armrests fit under neath the desk so I can have my belly like touching the desk. The metal frame is HEAVY and strong. This chair weighs 65 lbs. The worst part was assembley, it was grueling well over an hour because one of the metal pieces would not fit properly into the groove I had to take half the chair apart and redo it. ( i actually attempted to use a mini sledge hammer it was so hard).
For the price it was hard to find a chair with a high back, leather this comfortable. I was dissapointed with what seems like false advertising. I was expecting the advertised KNEE-TILT to actually adjust the bottom seat portion up and down as if in a car. But it turns out to be a tilt option where you can lock it while reclined which is pretty cool its just hard to get it unlocked once your reclined. I will try it out for studying and see how it goes. This is one of the most comfortable chairs I have typed in!!

I am using this chair at my desk and the chair has a lot of issues. I am 5'7 and when the chair is at its lowest setting my feet barely reach the floor. Not designed for sitting straight up. This seems to only be designed for people that want to lean back all day but even then the chair is still uncomfortable.Issues:1. The head rest padding is cheap and offers no padding. 2. The Lumbar support is not supporting, actually causes me to hunch3. The padding on the arm rests are more like leather covers if anything.4. The seat is so long you cant reach the floor.5. The chair does not go low enough to fit under my desk. 6. The tilt stopping bar doesn't fully stop tilting. When engaged you still have that slight rock. 7. CHEAP PLASTIC!! I am not kidding.[...]Pros:1. The chair looks like it belongs on enterprise--lol.2. Easy to put together.3. With screws fully tightened the chair is solid except for the creaking.4. The tilt tension screw works great--never knew what that big screw in the front was--lol.Hopefully I have given you a better idea about this chair. This chair is more suited to someone that wants to lean back on the phone all day. I can not recommend anyone to buy this with the issues mentioned. I find it rather strange this chair is not on display anywhere and with everything said I can see why. You might be thinking well you get what you pay for, well , I tried another chair which is in the same price range called Staples® Acadia™ Multi-Function Mesh Task Chair. The Arcadia blows this chair out of the water. So now I am looking for chairs similar to the Arcadia.Lessened Learned: ALWAYS TRY OUT A CHAIR BEFORE YOU BUY :)

All I can say is buy this chair and you will not be disappointed. VERY comfortable, Very supportive, Very Attractive. Has the "Looks like something out of a space ship" coolness factor. It was slightly tricky to assemble but as long as you have a carpeted floor so you won't scratch the leather and you don't tighten the armrest bolts down all the way you should have no issues putting it together. Took me about 30 min to assemble.
