I have been buying Lasko products (ceramic heaters for winter, and floor fans to help lower the cost of air conditioner in Florida for years), this products never disappointed me,they work properly for 4 to 5 years, and when they stop working I just replace the item for a new one. They are durable, work as expected, and are reliable.

I live in a triplex where the landlord "forgot" to pay the gas...only my heat is gas. Normally wouldn't be an issue in So.Cal...but as luck would have it we hit a cold wave. As the news reports it "sub zero temps". Apparently the landlord has heat. I ran out this morning after freezing ALL night, bought this heater and within minutes the whole living room was TOASTY! It's wonderful. Hot air on the spot! Quite and efficient! Perfect. Would highly recommend! Also as a side perk...has a remote! :)

Overall, I really like this heater. It was easy to set up and use and has several options including low, high, and 6 individual temperature settings. It ossilates well and seems to spead the heat quickly through my 18x12 bedroom. I haven't used the remote, but it is a nice additional feature. The only thing that I don't like about it is that is has an odd odor when operating, but I am hoping that is just because it is new and will go away soon. I have purchased several heaters for zone heating and I like this one best. I wish they had a better rating system for the amount of energy used. This model cost only $10 more than the other oscillating heater I purchased at Staples, but this one is much better quality.
