        I'm taking my computer in to Staples to have them check the battery out. I used it for an hour unplugged, the battery ran down totally and then it would not re-charge. (it did a couple of days ago after a week...) My computer's shut down on its own without warning, and I'm concerned with fire because it gets so hot. (yes...the fan does work...)

            I had to constantly un-install and re-install this battery just to get my laptop to even recognize it. It WOULD NOT start my computer even after being fully charged. After I plugged my computer in it would cycle through recognizing it, not recognizing it, then it would be 100% charged, then not charged. I wish I could give it NO stars.

              After 3 orders for tis battery I will go look for another source. Only one continues to work and past the HP battery test in our laptops. We have 3 that use the same battery and 2 out of 3 of these vendors batteries failed in all laptops.
