This Battery is average for cost and service. It was a challenge to get the correct one as the wrong one was ordered[...] Their are other suppliers which are less expensive but Staples continue to work to get my problems solved, Especially on Wendover in Greensboro NC.

Our old battery had been with us for four years now and we had to keep the laptop plugged in or else it would shut down on us. This new battery is perfect for our laptop and I admit I wasn't too sure it would work, but it does!!! This battery is a great replacement for HP Pavillion dv6000 series.

staples sent wrong battery

called in order after going to local staples. I took battery with me to staples and the local sales associate told me they do not carry the part it would have to be ordered on line. She looked it up to see if it was in stock, wrote down the part number and told me the cost. I went home called the staples 800 number to place my order. Whoever I talked to told me the part does not exist. I told him I was just at the staples store and was told it does. He told me I was wrong. He wanted to know my laptop make and model, serial number. I gave him the information. Again, he said staples does not have it. I told him the battery number one more time. He checked and said here it is I will ship it and send email confirmation. I said ok. The next day I checked my confirmation. I noticed it said the battery was for a copletely different laptop. I called staples back talked to a Tanya who was very helpful. I explained the situation with her. She looked over the order and looked up the battery number I was given at the staples store. She could tell I was shipped the wrong battery and I had the right number. She told me not to accept the shipment and she could send the correct part. However, as I was on the phone, I also was online and found the part for about 40% less than staples. Staples, you lost a sale. If you would have just done it right the first time.

I use the laptop as well as my desktop when working on the many financial reports I create as treasurer of my church. The original HP battery lasted a long time but when time to replace was quite expensive so as usual I went to my favorite store, Staples, and bought this replacement which seems to work fine.
