This is a replacement for the originial battery. I have only one issue- the computer is wireless but the battery life is not long enough. So I have to plug it into a power strip- So It does not feel wireless.Otherwise I have no problem with the BATTERY. Of course I think it was a bit expensve but so are most things.

I use the laptop mostly for work and it tends to run several hours a day. I bought this as a replacement for the original battery which was 2 1/2 years old and no longer held a charge for more than 20 minutes. Unlike others who have reviewed this battery, I do not agree that the battery life is better than the original. It will only charge to 98% and then only holds a charge for about 3 hours. I do have a lot of stuff running on my computer so don't know if that affects it. My primary complaint, however, is that when I plug it in to charge, it says "plugged in...not charging." The only way I can get ito charge is to remove the battery and put it back in.

For the price I am pleased with this product. It seems to run out of power after a couple hours. However I use it around a power source so it is not a problem.

So far, this battery has lasted longer when charged than the original battery ever did. I am getting at least 5 hours per charge, but I haven't really drained it yet. This performance may not last as the battery gets older, though, so I will be watching it over the next few months. Pricewise, this was much less expensive than the Manufacturer's replacement. So, it was a good purchase.
