            The battery has a textured finish, while the kodak battery is smooth. This battery therefore is difficult to get to slide out of the camera to replace. It doesnt have and edge to get a fingernail in to pull either. THe kodak battery pops right out. This battery seems to last just as long as the kodak. So, for literally 1/2 the price, it's worth it, in my opinion.

            Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

                The Lenmar Replacement Battery for Kodak KLIC-8000 (DLK8000) can be charged directly in your Kodak camera using your docking station, or it can be charged in the K8500 or K7600 chargers.
