Nowhere near as good as the originals

This battery is fully compatible with the Panasonic pack it is made to replace. It worked flawlessly for the first 3 months, then would no longer hold a charge. The power doesn't drop off...Read complete review

This battery is fully compatible with the Panasonic pack it is made to replace. It worked flawlessly for the first 3 months, then would no longer hold a charge. The power doesn't drop off coming from the defective battery pack, causing the phone to show a full charge. Then suddenly the phone will shut itself off and need to be recharged. I have swapped the battery packs between two handsets and the problem follows the battery pack. Considering the original OEM batteries that came with the unit lasted almost 3 years, I was hoping for much better than 3 months usage out of these replacement batteries. Save your money, don't buy these, find somewhere that carries the original part and pay the few dollars more. You'll replace these 10 times before you have to replace the OEM version, so unless these are 1/10th the price of the OEM, they're a waste of money.

            This cordless phone battery has been in use for two weeks and has had full charges every night. If one has one 1-hour phone call, the battery is depleted to the point that it will not even connect to the base unit, but has to be plugged back into the charger. Previous batteries had much more staying power.

                THIS BATTERY IS NOT A SUITABLE REPLACEMENT FOR PANASONIC HEADSETS. I JUST HOPE THAT THEY HAVE NOT DAMAGED MY HEADSETS. STAPLES USED TO SELL THE AT&T NIMH REPLACEMENT WHICH WAS VERY GOOD.
                THIS PRODUCT IS A REPLACEMENT FOR THE OLD NICAD P-P511.
                THE HHR-402A IS THE NIMH REPLACEMENT BATTERY.
