So costly but a necessary evil if you don't want to lug around a power adapter with a big brick attached and make sure there is an outlet where ever you go. This one is supposedly the "Extended capacity but you wouldn't know it from the amount of time it holds a charge...about two hours. Oh well, at least it fits and I can go cordless. That's all that's important.

    I purchased this battery because it was cheaper than the Dell but as the saying goes, "you get what you pay for." I noticed when I inserted the battery that it didn't fit tight, so I check to make sure this was the one recommended for my laptop. It would only hold a charge for about an hour and a half at a time in the beginning and went down from there.
