I got this computer for schooling and personal use. I had no problem with the battery nor the shipping. The only problem I had was setting it up at first. I think this is a reliable computer. It came in a nice package and was properly packaged. There was no damage to the computer at all. It was also sent in a staples box. Thank you for reading this.

First off, I was surprised to receive a package from someone named "Wang Sun" from California. Staples themselves are a middle man for sale of this product.

When I removed the computer from the poorly packaged box, I plugged it in and immediately wanted to get it up and running. Not even two minutes in, the computer turns off. So I leave it off for a bit (about 2 hours) and let it charge. I go to turn the computer on again, it won't turn on. I plug the computer to the charger again and it turns on. I figure, okay...I have a dead battery. Again, just as before the computer dies right after I register the 25 character MS code. Now, the laptop won't even turn on.

Yesterday I go to the Fishers Staples to return the laptop...they don't know how to do a return from a website purchase! They tell me to come back Monday because they'd have to call someone at corporate and they don't work on the weekends (Yes, I was shocked, but okay). Before I leave, the salesperson asks why I bought a used computer and proceeds to tell me that they're more problems than they're worth. This is a product that Staples endorses...why would they sell "junk" if they didn't believe in the product?? If anything the salesman should have said that they were sorry I had a problem with the computer and left their feelings to themselves.

Now I am agitated. I head north to the Noblesville Staples. It's a complete 180 degree turn. They're very helpful. I am told that Staples has nothing to do with the distribution of refurbished computers. By the condition that I received the laptop, I would also venture to guess that Lenovo has nothing to do with the refurbishment either.

In short, don't waste your time. I was told at the Noblesville Staples that they've refunded 5 people over the last few weeks because of non-functioning refurbished laptops.

I didn't purchase this laptop to be the END ALL laptop...or the last computer I'd ever have to purchase. If I got 2 or 3 years out of it I would have been thrilled. In the end, all I got was disappointment.
