If you own a Lexmark, you probably need to use Lexmark ink. In the past, I have found using off-brand ink supplies do ot always result in quality results, though they can be cheaper. I just wish the ink supply would last longer. I have heard that ink from some other printes prints more pages for less cost.

I purchased this printer because the ink cartridges were advertised as less than twenty dollars, now they are over thirty dollars. Don't understand why they are getting more expensive the older the printer gets.
