Because this is an ink jet cartridge, smudging is common. The ink dries quickly if printed in a normal mode. If photo or denser printing is chosen, allow a little more time for drying.This is part of Lexmark's reward program. For every 5 cartridges purchased, the buyer earns 1 free. For every 5 cartridges returned, the buyer earns 1 free. [...]Not a bad program!
