I use this product to print professional resumes and letters (correspondence). The quality on parchment paper is excellent.
I also print photos on photo paper and the photo color quality is that of prints ordered at a photo shop. They dry very fast which is an excellent bonus.
I also print quick things from email and online - "junk stuff" - and it does a great job of printing what I need, dries fast, and extends the life of the ink cartridge on the quick print setting.
I would recommend this product to anyone - just be sure to use the cartridge with the extended life (twice as much ink) because the cartridges are small enough that they don't last long. That is the biggest downfall of this product - it would be nice if the ink cartridge was larger.

I only use my printer for light household purposes (maybe 50 pages per mo.), nothing heavy duty, yet I only got 3 months out of this "high yield" cartridge (I mark the install date right on the cartridge). Have had this printer for a few years, always with the same type of yield (color and black). Love the machine X8350 print/copy/ scan/fax AIO, but the cartridges really are WAY too expensive, given the short time they last (color is no better). Would try a Kodak printer, but haven't seen any AIO's w/the fax feature, which I do use. I recently bought an additional Epson printer for $40 when I ran out of ink -- it was cheaper than buying the two cartridges for the Lexmark. How sad! Another downside: Lexmark cartridges virtually NEVER are able to be successfully refilled!

These cartridges don't seem to last long. I'm constantly replacing them even though this is not the only printer I use. I'm really disappointed in the yield.
